On March 2, 2024, four students from Cho’s Elite Taekwondo School in Orange, CT traveled to Basking Ridge, NJ to compete in the International KTL Taekwondo Championship. The students competed in front of thousands of Taekwondo practitioners, coaches, referees and supporters, some coming from as far


Orange Youth Services will choose (3) graduating seniors, who live in Orange, to be awarded $1,000 each toward their continuing education. Students will be chosen based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, volunteer involvement & future endeavors.

On March 11, 2024, the Amity Board of Education adopted a proposed budget for the 2024-2025 school year that is a 3.49% increase over the current year budget. This Board adopted budget is lower than the budget approved by the Amity Finance Committee on February 26, 2024.

Robert Archambault, age 92, beloved husband for 62 years to Marilyn Ekblade Archambault of Orange, entered into eternal rest on March 14, 2024 at Branford, CT. Son of the late Clarence and Mary Appleby Archambault, he was born on November 1, 1931 in New Haven, CT.
