Frank D’Ostilio Joins SCSU Business Executive Council

The Southern Connecticut State University School of Business welcomes Frank D’Ostilio Jr. to Dean Jess Boronico’s Business Executive Council.

Mr. D’Ostilio is a specialist in all forms of real estate transactions, including new construction, land development and commercial properties. He is a partner in Houlihan Lawrence Wareck D’Ostilio Real Estate, the New Haven affiliate of Houlihan Lawrence Real Estate of Westchester, New York. D’Ostilio is the former owner of William Orange Realty which was sold to a national brokerage in 2005. He is also a real estate investor and manages his own investment portfolio. A graduate of Bryant University with an accounting degree, Mr. D’Ostilio briefly practiced accounting but switched his career to real estate sales shortly after. He has personally sold over 2000 commercial and residential properties to date throughout his career.

D'Ostilio is past President of New Haven Middlesex Realtors (NHMR) and served as a director for more than 10 years. He also was a board member of the Woodbridge Park Association, curators of the 82-acre Alice newton Street Memorial Park and was named board member Emeritus after 26 years of service. He and his wife, Mary live in Woodbridge, CT and have three grown children.

D’Ostilio is a strong partner of the SCSU School of Business interviewing students, hiring both interns and graduates. He generously supports the Career Springboard Platform, which provides career services resources to students as they navigate the transition from college to career.

The Executive Council advises Dean Boronico on issues regarding the school’s mission, platforms, and educational programs. It strives to build support for the School of Business in the community while also participating in events within the school.
