Students at Orange Community Nursery School were treated to a visit by OVF. \The students learned about fire safety and all the jobs fire fighters do. Thank you to Firefighters Lisa, Bert and Rob for a fun visit.


Students across the district showcased their spelling skills at two exciting Spelling Bees held on April 9th at the Board of Education office. The evening began with a competition featuring students from grades three and four competing in a bee followed by a second bee for students in grades five

Montclair State University has announced that Leah Monschein, a resident of Orange, has been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2025 semester.


Amity Regional School District #5, as per state guidelines, is properly disposing of student special education records. The records of any student who has received special services are maintained for six years after their class graduates. Former Amity students who were born between 2001 -2003


The Amity Board of Education has approved a proposed 2026-2027 budget of $58,809,212, representing an increase of $700,213, or 1.20 percent, over the current fiscal year. The budget was developed over several months, beginning in August, with input from district staff, the Amity Finance Committee
