United Insurance Group Celebrates Five Decades in Orange with New, Expanded Location

Celebrating more than five decades in Orange, United Insurance Group held a ribbon-cutting yesterday to open its new offices, which double the size of its former location and offer expanded capabilities to serve its clients with a robust array of insurance services.
Located on the top floor of the Firelite Professional Building, 35 Old Tavern Road, Suite 203, Orange, the 3,400-square-foot office suite marks a new chapter in the agency's long-standing presence in the Orange community.
United Insurance Group's owners, President Rachel Gaudet, and Chief Operating Officer, Scott Gaudet, were joined by Barry Lee Cohen, CEO of the Amity Chamber of Commerce, State Representative Kathy Kennedy (R-119), and Amity Chamber Board of Directors member, Susan Ianniello, along with UIG team members, clients, and family. An open house and tours of the facility followed.

Founded in 1973 by the late Jerry Ucci, the agency has grown into a second-generation, family-owned business. Today, United Insurance Group represents more than 30 insurance carriers and provides a full range of personal and commercial insurance solutions. While rooted in Connecticut, United Insurance Group serves clients throughout the Northeast and beyond.
The Gaudet's note, "With a legacy spanning more than five decades, United Insurance Group remains committed to delivering trusted guidance, personalized coverage, and enduring relationships for generations to come."
Cohen said, "Rachel and Scott sell more than insurance. The expertise, compassion, and personal touch that was the trademark of Jerry Ucci continues to shine bright and is now trusted and relied upon by families, communities, and businesses throughout Connecticut."
