Rep. Welander To Host Early Childhood Advocacy Day Press Conference

State Rep. Mary Welander will host a press conference to discuss legislative proposals supporting access to safe, high-quality, and affordable childcare. Legislators, advocates, and parents will share why strong early childhood funding is essential for our kids, working families, and our economy. They will also highlight the importance of a continued investment in the Early Childhood Education Endowment, which would provide free early education to families enrolled in Early Start CT earning up to $100,000 annually.

The press conference supporting early childhood education will take place on Wednesday, April 8, at 10:00 A.M. It will be held in the Hall of Flags at the State Capitol, located at 210 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, CT 06106.
