A large group of elementary students in formal attire pose together in a decorated school gym during the 16th annual Peck Place School Senior Prom event.

On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, The Peck Place School Student Council, composed of children in grades 3-6, held their annual “Senior Prom.” The Student Council is led by Fifth Grade Teacher Mrs. Erica Campbell.

The Senior Prom is an event held every year to honor the Greatest Generation. This is the 16th year of this event. Senior citizens in and around the surrounding communities are invited to attend at no cost.

The Student Council provides the music and entertainment, waits on tables and escorts the seniors to and from the gymnasium of The Peck Place School. It is a way to give back to the generation that gave so much.

This year, the Prom had one of its greatest attendance numbers…approximately 100 people attended! All the food, beverages and decorations were possible because of the generosity of The Peck Place community of parents and students.
