John Smyth Memorial Scholarship

The John Smyth Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to Amity H. S. Graduate Caitlyn Shanley.  Caitlyn is the daughter of Patrick and Whitney Shanley of Orange.  The award was presented at the Knights of St. Patrick in New Haven.  Shown in photo (L-R) are Seamus Bohan the president of the Knights of St. Patrick’s, Bernadette LaFrance the granddaughter of John Smyth, recipient Caitlyn Shanley who will be attending Fairfield University and John LaFrance the grandson of John Smyth and chairman of the scholarship committee.
