The freshmen students in Deborah Boughton’s English classes at Bullard-Havens Technical High School in Bridgeport made beautiful holiday cards for every resident at Orange Rehabilitation and Health Care Center on the Boston Post Road in Orange, CT.  In the spirit of the season, Ms. Boughton is seen presenting the cards to Shaileen Landsberg, Nurse Liaison.  The students enjoyed creating the individualized and unique cards replete with artwork and heartwarming holiday messages and wishes which were then distributed to each and every resident on Christmas day.  The project enlightened the students on the importance of community and the care of the elderly and ailing.  They were proud to take part in this outreach of goodwill to Orange Rehab which is an inpatient skilled rehabilitation facility providing the area with short term rehabilitation and long term skilled nursing care.
