On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, The Peck Place School Student Council, composed of children in grades 3-6, held their annual “Senior Prom.” The Student Council is led by Fifth Grade Teacher Mrs. Erica Campbell.
The next Amity Chamber "Breakfast & Briefs" legal seminar will be held on May 19th at Charter Senior Living of Orange, 197 Indian River Road, Orange. Doors open at 8:15 am, with the one-hour briefing starting promptly at 8:30 am. The program includes a free, catered breakfast

The Town of Orange will be hosting an Independence Day Concert and Fireworks Display at the Orange Fairgrounds on Friday, July 5th. The rain date for the event is Sunday, July 7th.

Once again,and in time for Memorial Day, the Boy Scouts of troop 41 under the watchful eye of Scoutmaster Brian Cleveland and the guidance of our very own Senior Patrol Leader Seth Glassman, recently placed flags for our veterans in Congregation Or Shalom cemetery on Derby-Milford Road.


Mekhi McCoter, from New Haven, was profiled recently on the popular “Great Kids” feature, which runs every Tuesday on the 4:30 p.m. edition of WFSB-TV’s Eyewitness News Program. Mekhi earned the spotlight for his achievements as a Little Brother (mentee) in the Big Brothers Big Sisters


Anna Varholak, a member of Stonehill College’s Class of 2026 from Orange, CT, was recently honored at the institution’s Student Life Awards, held Sunday, April 28, 2024. Each year, this program celebrates campus community members for their outstanding contributions to the betterment of Stonehill.


Dominic Mustello, 81 of Orange, formerly of Floral Park, NY passed away peacefully April 27th at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born May 4, 1942 in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Dominic and Marie Mustello and was predeceased by his beloved wife, Kathleen O'Brien Mustello.

Save the date for the 4th Annual Orange Artisan Fest & Vendor Fair, scheduled on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Orange Fairgrounds at High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Road, Orange. The all-outdoor event is rain or shine and free and open to the public.
