The Basement Bookstore is Open for Summer Reading

Friends of Case Memorial Library, Orange, CT has the next Community Book Sale on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 10 til 3.  Our Sale is a great place to pick up books for summer reading enjoyment for you and your children or a gift or two!  It’s a full bookstore in our Library basement! 

We have a wide variety for readers of all ages and all interests. Come and find lots of books in the stacks or on tables plus specialty tables.  Fill your bags with  Summer Fun, including sports, grill cooking etc., U.S. and British Leaders, The Ever Popular - Banned Books, Staff Picks, Vacations and Staycations, including hikes & bike rides, Crime – Fiction, Beautiful Art Books, One-of-a-Kind Finds.  We still have CDs and DVDs at $.25 each, plus Vinyl Records are $1 each or $3 for a set.

We continue to be easy on your pocketbook.  Ridiculously low prices!  Most books are $2 for soft cover & $3 for hard cover.  Some books may be priced higher. We also have restocked our popular “Last Call” books priced at $.25 and $.50.  Cash or check; absolutely no credit cards, please.

Get Ready - The search is on, the reading is easy, the prices are low, and the summer is lazy and long, so we hope to see you in our Mini-Bookstore.
