Jeffrey Levison, chair of Temple Emanuel of Greater New Haven’s annual turkey collection program, stands among the turkeys being gathered by Temple members.  This is the 22nd year for the turkey drive.  Last year, the temple donated 93 turkeys to New Haven’s Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen.  This year, 125 turkeys were sent to New Haven, along with fixings donated by some temple members.  Temple Emanuel, in Orange, is a small, but growing, Reform synagogue with members from many parts of the New Haven and the Lower Naugatuck Valley.
