Orange Resident Supports Big Brothers Big Sisters at Its Annual Farewell to Summer Picnic

Orange resident Alex Beck, his three sons, and more than 200 other attendees were guests at the recent Farewell to Summer 2023 Picnic – hosted at Riverside Park in Portland by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Connecticut.  Beck is a veteran member of the Board of Directors at Big Brothers Big Sisters.  He was a Big Brother (mentor) with the statewide youth mentoring organization for ten years.  His former mentee in the organization’s program, Mekhi from New Haven, was named the organization’s Youth of the Year this past April.  Beck is an attorney with the New Haven State’s Attorney’s Office.
