Elizabeth M. Stahl (Betty)

Elizabeth M. Stahl (Betty), passed away peacefully at home in Orange, surrounded by family on December 21, 2022.  Born in Derby Connecticut, January 7, 1950, daughter of George H Murphy Jr. and Elizabeth Ann Manion Murphy, she leaves her husband Craig A Stahl, of Orange, survived by her sister Barbara J Stumpo and her husband Paul of Oxford, brother George H Murphy III and his husband James Pincille of Palm Springs, CA, a daughter, Jennifer Snow Morgan and her husband Christian of Rock Hill, SC., a son Brendan Snow and his wife Katrina of Milford, CT, a step-daughter Carrie Foster and her husband John of Wakefield, MA., a step-son Christian A Stahl and his wife Aleshia of Bethany, CT. seven Grandchildren and Step-Grandchildren:  Sophie and Aiden Morgan, Emelia Snow, Cage and Ashur Foster. Cecilia and Seeley Stahl.  Many loving nieces and nephews as well as her former husband Jeffery Snow, Woodstock, GA.

Elizabeth graduated from Lauralton Hall Class of 1967, St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1971 and Excelsior College.  As a Registered Nurse she was Owner/Director of Operations at Progressive Healthcare Services, Largo, FL; Former Director of Clinical Practice at University of Florida, Home Health Division/Shands Home Care, Largo, FL; Manager of clinical practice at Gentiva Home Health, Clearwater, FL; Administrator/ Branch Director at Gentiva Home Health, Trumbull, Hamden and Farmington, CT.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to be determined.  There will be no calling hours; burial will be private at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, Betty and her family requests that charitable donations be made through the Funeral Director, in Betty’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or the Veterans Organization of your choice.
