Congregation Or Shalom Announces Open House Reception Weekend
Congregation Or Shalom is opening its doors to the community for a special Open House Reception Weekend, offering a variety of services and events from September 5th to September 7th. The weekend is designed to welcome current members, former members, and newcomers alike to meet the new rabbi and learn more about the synagogue's vibrant community.
The weekend kicks off on Friday, September 5th, at 7:00 PM with a unique Friday service at the Orange Gazebo. This outdoor Shabbat service offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Attendees are encouraged to bring their family, friends, and even pets, along with their own lawn chairs for a comfortable evening. In case of rain, the service will be held inside the synagogue.
The celebration continues on Saturday, September 6th, at 9:30 AM with Saturday Shabbat Services. This service will be led by the new rabbi, offering a chance for the community to experience their leadership. The day will also feature additional programming for children and an opportunity to learn about the synagogue's exciting programs and committees.
The weekend concludes on Sunday, September 7th, at 9:00 AM with "Minyan & Mimosas." This brief service, co-sponsored by the Men's Club and Sisterhood, will be followed by a special breakfast and children's activities, providing a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and fun.
