Pink & Powerful Event Boosts Scholarships for Women

In support of its mission to provide educational opportunities to local women in need of financial assistance, the Network of Executive Women of Milford will be raising money for its Scholarship Fund at its upcoming Pink & Powerful networking event. All of the net proceeds of the event, which will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 6-9pm at the Milford Elks Lodge at 124 New Haven Ave. in Milford, will go toward providing scholarship funds for educational programs for women.

The Pink & Powerful event will feature light entertainment, raffle prizes, music from DJ Sonja, vendor booths and networking with local businesswomen. With a dress code of Think Pink, prizes will be awarded for the most creative pink outfit and member-decorated pink trees of various themes will be raffled off. Tickets are $25 per person and include desserts and coffee. There will be a cash bar, and food will be available for purchase. Open to all. The Network of Executive Women Milford, Inc., an organization of business and executive women who share their ideas and promote each other’s endeavors while providing educational opportunities for women who need financial assistance. The Network has been raising money and distributing scholarships to local women for over forty years.
