Orange Students Won Medals at the 4th Pan American Kung Fu Championships in Canada

The 4th Pan American Kung Fu Championships was held in Markham, Ontario, Canada, at the Markham Pan Am Center on August 3 through August 6.  The PAKFC is the Pan American version of the world Kung Fu championships.  This exciting event was from 8/3-8/6, which involved nearly 800 athletes from all over the world.  Among them, there are over 300 competitors from the US. 

Wu Dang Kung Fu Academy students from Orange Angela He (rising senior at ARHS), Elsie Guo (8th Grade students at AMSO), Elaine Guo (7th Grade student at AMSO), David Ke (rising senior at ARHS) participated in the event.  Angela got first place in Spear, second place in Snake fist form and Straight sword.  Elsie got second place in Staff, and third place in Long Fist and Broadsword.  Elaine also got third place in Long Fist and Broadsword.  David got third place in Broadsword.  Congratulations to the students who made the achievements at such a competitive international competition!
