Local Organizations Host "Tour de Faith" Mosque Visit

The Congregations of Orange Collaborative , Peace Islands Institute Connecticut , and Wellspring Community Center are inviting the public to a guided visit to a local mosque. This upcoming event is part of the ongoing "Tour de Faith" interfaith series.

The tour will take place at the Mevlana Mosque, located at 546 Ocean Avenue in West Haven. The event is scheduled for May 3rd, running from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Following the guided tour, light refreshments will be served to guests in the cafeteria.

To help maintain a respectful worship space, the organizers have outlined specific visitor guidelines for all attendees. Visitors are asked to wear modest clothing that keeps shoulders, arms, and legs covered. Additionally, everyone must remove their shoes before entering the sanctuary. Women are requested to bring a head covering, such as a shawl or scarf, to wear while inside the prayer space.
