On Tuesday, October 3rd, 1st grade students in Troop 60562 from the Amity New Haven Girl Scout Service Unit participated in a discussion and guided tour of the Orange Police Department hosted by Officer Ali Esposito.  These 2nd year Daisies learned about how to keep safe and who to reach out to for help.  The girls were able to express their appreciation by gifting the department an assortment of cookies donated by the Girl Scouts Cookies for Heroes program.  The troop co-leaders, Rachel Bespuda and Kristin Hildenbrandt are so proud of the girls commitment to the girl scout law and promise.
