Case Memorial Library Summer Book Sale: August 1

On August 1 from 10 AM till 3 PM, the Case Memorial Library hosts its Summer Book Sale. Shoppers will find a well-curated selection of books in the library basement.

The Summer Book Sale is the perfect time to shop. Now that summer is slowly beginning to wind down, it may be time to switch from beach reads to some of the famous classics that are available. However, if you are not quite ready to throw in your beach towel, the book sale also offers romances, mysteries, thrillers and many of the very latest releases. 

The wide array of nonfiction books includes history, politics, and science as well as beautiful coffee-table art books those into lifestyle will find books on health, self-care, cooking, gardening, and sports.   

Since school is just around the corner, this is the perfect time to shop the Children's Book Section in order for children to get in some extra reading before the fall. 

And please visit the specialty tables. The newest specialty table is Historical Fiction – these books combine fascinating history with a gripping plot to carry the reader along. Speaking of history, since our country has just turned 250 years old, there is a table that is well supplied with books that commemorate America’s rich past.  

The other specialty tables are worth exploring as well.  The Staff Picks table is filled with books the volunteers have enjoyed and think that you will enjoy too. On the Banned Books table, each book has a bookmark that explains exactly why the book was banned. Also, make sure to check out the One-of-a-Kind Finds. As its name implies, you will not find these offerings anywhere else.
