The Orange Scholarship Foundation Association is offering several scholarships to graduating seniors from Orange. Among them is the Ashlie Krakowski Memorial Scholarship of $4000. This scholarship is awarded to a student who intends to pursue a career in health care or a related health care field.

Mary “Marge” Larkin, 90, of Orange, CT beloved wife of John “Jack” Larkin, passed peacefully on February 27, 2023. Born on April 19, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Cooper) Burkowsky. Marge and Jack were married on September 2, 1954.


Julia Kaoud, age 87, of Orange, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on February 17, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late Saliba Kaoud. Julia was born in Ramallah, Palestine, daughter of the late Bishara Kaoud and Victoria Milham Kaoud.

Carolyn H. (Marcovich) Contardi, 74, of Orange passed away February 24, 2023. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Helen (Buturla) Marcovich.


Lucille Cassella, 87, of Orange, passed away peacefully at her home on February 8, 2023. Born on July 12, 1935 in Meriden, CT, she lived life fully and on her own terms. She brought love and laughter to all who knew her. There was no greater friend or relative.
