Stacked books on a library table with holly decorations, pinecones, and an open book in the foreground, set against festive lights and a Christmas tree.

On Saturday, November 8 from 10 am to 3 pm, the holiday book sale will take place at Case Memorial Library.  If you are looking for gifts for the season, the holiday sale offers so many kinds of books that it will be easy to find a gift for even the most hard-to-please recipient. The children’s book section is well stocked for every age from toddlers to teens. Non-fiction includes art books, automobile books, science books, books about religions, while fiction includes both the latest authors and those well tested by time. There is also a great selection of both vintage and contemporary cookbooks from which to choose – new soup recipes are perfect for this time of year. You can also find collectible books. Plus keep an eye out for that perfect tiny book that slides right into a stocking hanging on the fireplace mantle.

Also, be sure to browse the extensive and well-curated DVDs, CDs and Vinyl corner – the choices will have you humming even before you put that CD into your player.

The special display tables include: banned books, staff picks, historical fiction, politics, art, games, and even a one-of-a-kind table.

The library doors open at 10 am, and the sale runs till 3 pm. Bring cash, checks, and your tote bags.  We do not accept credit cards.  Let’s share the holiday season together.
