At the August 19th Board of Education Meeting, the Amity Board of Education voted to transition to two meetings per month. September 9th marked the beginning of this new format. 


The Orange Public School District announced today its policy for determining eligibility of children who may receive free or reduced-price meals served under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
NOTE: For SY 2024-2025, all students eligible for reduced-price school meals, enrolled in a school

The following Fairfield University students from Orange, CT graduated from Fairfield University, May 2024: Katie Barretta, Mary Foley, Michael Holloway and Janae Staltaro. At the time of graduation, a student must have earned a minimum of 120 credits and completed at least 38 three- or four-credit


The following Orange students have been named to the University of Delaware Dean’s List for the Spring 2024 semester: Joshua Ford and Zack Cable. To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale)


The following Fairfield University students from Orange, CT received Dean’s List Honors for the Spring 2024 semester: Katie L. Barretta, Elizabeth G. Bowler, Katherine E. Cesare, Sophia Cossitt-Levy, Ava L. Divincenzo, Caitlyn J. Shanley, Miles C. Turner, and Rose G. Wegman. 


Rika Howard has earned a spot on the Goodwin University Dean's List for Spring 2024. Rika, a student from Orange, is one of 752 students to make the Dean's List, reserved for those who demonstrate great academic performance.

Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its Dean’s List for the spring 2024 semester. Among them is full-time student Natalie Garcia of Orange, a sophomore who majors in Pre-Social Work. To qualify for Dean’s List, full-time students must complete a minimum


The Orange Foundation has recently awarded $35,000 in community grants that benefit a wide range of groups in Orange. These awards include the full funding of the refurbishing the sidewalk between Town Hall and High Plains Community Center out of the O’Sullivan fund.
