Montclair State University has announced that Leah Monschein, a resident of Orange, has been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2025 semester.

Margaret Beauchamp Bucknall of Orange, passed away on March 30, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was born October 21, 1948 in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Nowell Gene and Dr. Robert Beauchamp. She was the beloved wife of Alfred Bucknall for 53 years of love and partnership.


Emilia Steinbrick of Orange, CT, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Steinbrick was initiated at Sacred Heart University.

A "sweet" day was had by all the children at Holly Hill Childcare & Learning Center when the Easter Bunny hopped by with treats galore! All of the children (well...almost all) had their photo taken and then headed outside for a fantastic Easter egg hunt.

On March 2, 2024, four students from Cho’s Elite Taekwondo School in Orange, CT traveled to Basking Ridge, NJ to compete in the International KTL Taekwondo Championship. The students competed in front of thousands of Taekwondo practitioners, coaches, referees and supporters, some coming from as far

On March 11, 2024, the Amity Board of Education adopted a proposed budget for the 2024-2025 school year that is a 3.49% increase over the current year budget. This Board adopted budget is lower than the budget approved by the Amity Finance Committee on February 26, 2024.
