Margaret Beauchamp Bucknall of Orange, passed away on March 30, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was born October 21, 1948 in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Nowell Gene and Dr. Robert Beauchamp. She was the beloved wife of Alfred Bucknall for 53 years of love and partnership.


Emilia Steinbrick of Orange, CT, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Steinbrick was initiated at Sacred Heart University.

On March 2, 2024, four students from Cho’s Elite Taekwondo School in Orange, CT traveled to Basking Ridge, NJ to compete in the International KTL Taekwondo Championship. On March 11, 2024, the Amity Board of Education adopted a proposed budget for the 2024-2025 school year that is a 3.49% increase over the current year budget. This Board adopted budget is lower than the budget approved by the Amity Finance Committee on February 26, 2024.
