The members of the Lions Club of Orange provide a Thanksgiving Dinner at High Plains Community Center, their 36th annual. Join them the first Sunday after Thanksgiving, December 1, 2024 Dinner begins at 12:30 PM. Doors to open at NOON.
4th Graders Spread Kindness with Donation Bags
Ms. Bronson's fourth grade class at Racebrook school made kindness bags for people who are struggling with homelessness, hunger, or other basic needs. All the items including the bags were donated by the student's families. Items in the bags included toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, soap
WBDC Awards $25,000 Accelerate Grants to 4 Women-Owned Businesses in CT
Four of Connecticut’s women-owned businesses are receiving $25,000 grants from the Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC) through its new Accelerate Grant Program. The new program is designed to foster continued growth in women-owned businesses that have previously received WBDC grants.

Sacred Heart University Presents Michael Dow with Distinguished Alumnus Award
Michael Dow MSPT/CEO of Amity Physical Therapy was just awarded the 2024 Silver Pioneer Outstanding Alumni designation. Dow graduated from Sacred Heart 25 years ago, and the award recognizes “an alumnus who has reached a 25th milestone reunion year and whose life has been exemplary.”
